ERPACRIFE
In 1999, four young graduates of the prestigious winemaking school of Alba (the main town in the Langhe area of Piemonte) teamed up to make a wine together. Driven by their common passion for Champagne, they set out to make their own Metodo Classico (the Italian wording for Methòde Champenois), but using exclusively native Piemontese grape varieties. Eventually, after many experiments, they settled for Nebbiolo for their rosè, and for a blend of Cortese, Erbaluce, Timorasso and Moscato Bianco for their “Blanc de Blancs”. In 2003 the first 500 bottles of the 2000 vintage were released, and ERPACRIFE was officially born, by bonding together the initials of the four founders and winemakers: Erik Dogliotti, Paolo Stella, Cristian Calatroni and Federico Scarzello.
Erik, Paolo, Cristian and Federico all own and run their own wineries, but continue to work together to craft their ERPACRIFE wines, which have become a benchmark in Italian Metodo Classico wines.

Nebbiolo Metodo Classico Rosè Dosaggio Zero
100% Nebbiolo from the Madonna di Como single vineyard, near Alba. Aged on the lees for at least 24 months, followed by another 3 years in bottle before release.
A delicious rendition of Nebbiolo, interpreted through the lens of the Champenois Method. Bright, vertical and full of aromas of small wild berries and orange rind. No dosage added, to allow Nebbiolo’s character to shine through without filters.
