Cenatiempo makes some of the most compelling wines of Ischia, the volcanic island just off Naples where vineyards cling to steep terraces above the sea. These are wines that reflect their place, shaped by sea air, volcanic soils, and native grapes like Biancolella, Forastera, and Piedirosso. Founded in 1945 and still family-run by Pasquale Cenatiempo and Federica, the winery works with a patchwork of small island vineyards, letting their natural environment do the heavy lifting.
