Fogliati

Fogliati, a startup deeply rooted in the historical legacy of Castiglione Falletto, traces its origins back to 1950 when Guido Fogliati acquired the estate. However, following his passing, all grape production was directed to other prominent wineries.

In 2016, Guido's grandchildren, Annalisa and Guido, embarked on a journey to revive their family's legacy. They enlisted the expertise of the talented winemaker Gian Luca Colombo to craft Nebbiolos renowned for their exceptional purity and refinement; under Annalisa's stewardship and Gian Luca’s vision and expertise, the winery has undergone a transformation transitioning to organic farming practices, crafting wines of unparalleled quality, embracing a deeply traditional winemaking approach.

Situated in a truly exceptional location, Annalisa's vineyards occupy the northern edge of the renowned Bussia MGA, offering panoramic views of the town of Barolo.

Additionally, she maintains a small parcel in the Pugnane MGA, overlooking the Castiglione Falletto commune.

    Barolo Bussia DOCG

Made from a strict selection of the best grapes from the oldest vines (80+) from an estate owned plot within the Bussia MGA. In classic Bussia style, it delivers both concentrated aromatics (tobacco, wild berries) and super fine tannins, all wrapped in notes of underbrush and fine herbs. 2016 was the first vintage released under Annalisa and Giorgio’s renewed ownership.
